The Hobby Library information

Cookie policy

How The Hobby Library uses necessary storage and optional technologies.

Reviewed 23 July 2026

Necessary storage

Necessary storage supports security, administrator sessions and the record of your cookie choice. It is used because the website cannot provide those functions reliably without it.

Optional categories

Preferences remember optional display choices. Analytics can help us understand which guides are useful. Marketing may support advertising or measurement connected with commercial links.

Optional technology is off unless you choose to enable it. You can accept all, reject optional categories or choose individual categories in Cookie settings. Changing the settings applies to future use; some providers may also require their own deletion controls for information already stored.

The current list of optional providers and technologies will appear here whenever those services are in use.

First-party analytics

If Analytics is enabled in Cookie settings, The Hobby Library records page views, visits, approximate new visitors, page journeys and engaged time in its own database. Random identifiers are stored in browser storage and transformed before reaching the database. The analytics records do not contain IP addresses or full browser fingerprints and are normally retained for 180 days.

Privacy controls

Necessary storage is always active. Optional categories can be changed at any time.
